Delete Your Account

We respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your BizEats customer account, you can do so directly from within the app. This page explains how to request account deletion and what happens to your data afterwards.

1. How to Delete Your Account

Follow these steps to delete your account from the BizEats Customer App:

  • Open the BizEats app on your device.
  • Log in to your account if you are not already signed in.
  • Tap the Account tab at the bottom navigation bar.
  • Scroll down to the Account section.
  • Tap Delete Account.
  • Confirm the deletion when prompted. This action is immediate.

2. What Happens After Deletion

When you delete your account:

  • You will be immediately logged out of all active sessions.
  • Your account will be deactivated and will no longer be accessible.
  • Your personal information (name, email, phone number, delivery addresses) will be retained for a period of up to 30 days before being permanently removed, except where retention is required by applicable Philippine law.
  • Your order history may be retained for up to 3 years for legal and business compliance purposes, as required under Republic Act No. 10173 – Data Privacy Act of 2012.
  • Any active orders at the time of deletion will still be fulfilled.

3. Data That Cannot Be Deleted

Certain data may be retained even after account deletion due to legal obligations:

  • Transaction records required for financial and tax compliance.
  • Data needed to resolve ongoing disputes or complaints.
  • Information required by government or regulatory authorities.

4. Reactivation

Once your account is deleted, it cannot be reactivated. If you wish to use BizEats again in the future, you will need to create a new account.

If you are unable to access the app or need assistance deleting your account, please contact our support team and we will process your request manually within 5 business days.
